Q: How do I get tickets?
A: There are two ways to purchase tickets. 1. On-line with the purchase links above on this site. 2. On-site at the Festival. We highly recommend getting tickets in advance.
Q: I purchased tickets from the website. How do I redeem them?
A: Please print out your PayPal email confirmation as proof of purchase and bring it to the show or alternatively you can show it on your phone (preferred). We will have a list of attendees who have purchased tickets online.

Q: Are children free?
A: Yes, children under 12 are free. Anyone over 12 pays full rate.
Q: Do you offer hearing protection for children?
A: We offer Free ear protection for kids. Rent noise-cancelling headphones for $10/deposit. Get deposit back when returned.
Q: What time do gates open?
A: A half hour before the first band.
Q: Does River Jam have paid staff?
A: No, all River Jam staff are volunteers.
Q: Can my band play the Festival? RIVER JAM 2025 is FULLY BOOKED.
A: River Jam focuses on local talent (CT/RI/MA) and books for the following year immediately following the Festival. If you wish to be considered and meet the geographical criteria, email Courtney@cmbcreativegroup.com by August 1.
Q: Does River Jam cover bands costs for travel expenses?
A: No, since River Jam is a local festival, all bands cover their own travel costs.
Q: Can I park at the venue?
A: Yes. Parking is available at Mystic Shipyard along with the 'dog area' across the street.
Q: Am I allowed to come and go from the festival?
A: Yes, as long you have your wristband.
Q: May I camp out?
A. No.
Q: Do I need to bring my own chair?
A: No, chairs are provided.
Q: Can I bring a backpack?
A: Yes, subject to search on arrival.
Q: May I bring my own food?
A: No, food is available for purchase.
Q: May I bring my own water?
A: Yes.
Q: May I bring my own alcoholic beverages?
A: No. Beverages are available through a variety of great distributors.
Q: May I bring my dog?
A: Yes. Well behaved dogs must be on a leash - NO EXCEPTIONS and can not be left unattended. Be sure to bring water for them! You may have your dog under the tent, but please be extra mindful that there are other guests - including children - in a crowded area. Ideally, except in the case of inclement weather, dogs stay on the perimeter or outside the tented area. We all love our furry friends but safety is extremely important to us as well. Please feel free to message us with any questions.
Q: Is the festival rain or shine?
A: Yes, there is a tent for shelter from rain and sun.
Q: May I launch my kayak or paddle board from Mystic Shipyard?
A: Only if you have made prior arrangements with the Mystic Shipyard office. Call 860-536-6588..
VENDOR INFO.
Your space will be assigned upon arrival. For vendors doing one day only, we will do our best to accommodate space for easy in/easy out.
Friday: Please arrive anytime after 2pm, Please be set up by 3:30 at the latest, show starts at 4pm. Please do not shut down until the event ends at 10pm.
You are welcome to leave the truck / booth overnight if you wish. We have overnight security on Friday.
Saturday, please be ready to start serving / selling by 1pm, and again, please stay open til event ends (10pm).
Power is available for you if needed.
